Our charges include a bespoke design service. There is no extra charge for creating a new design from your ideas. Our consultations are for a maximum of 2 people attending.
Cakes are booked on a first come, first serve basis. We kindly request a minimum of 2 months notice for all wedding cakes and a minimum of two weeks for birthdays and other celebrations; however we can occasionally work to shorter notice based on availability.
For wedding cakes in particular, peak season periods (March-May and Sept-Nov) tend to book out 6 to 8 months in advance, however this is subject to availability.

Photos are very helpful in the design process, so please feel free to send these through. Photos of cakes by other designers will be used as inspiration, however please note that we do not directly copy their designs.
Once we have provided you with a quote, a 25% deposit will be required within 7 days to secure your booking, with full payment due 2 weeks prior to your event. For bookings made with less than one month notice full payment will be required.
We do not make tentative bookings. Bookings are only confirmed once a formal quote received and deposit paid.

Yes! Cake tasting packs are offered once per quarter in March, June, September and December. Please email us for further information about the next cake tasting pack.
Collection and Delivery
Delivery charge quoted at the time of order and it is based on the distance.

Our delivery service includes liaison with the banqueting team at your venue, assembly of the cake on site and dressing of the cake with fresh flowers if required.
If the cake is collected either by client or courier, CocoaBerry Cake Co. is not liable for any damage to the cake once it has left our studio.
How do I transport my cake if I choose to pick it up?
For pick up orders, we recommend that cakes be transported on a flat surface in your vehicle (the floor or trunk space) with the air conditioning on high. Cakes should be stored in the fridge, especially prior to any transport and brought to room temperature (around 45 minutes – 1 hour) prior to serving,
Alterations can be made to your order no later than two weeks prior to collection/delivery. If the alteration affects the overall cost then your balance will be adjusted accordingly.
Wedding cakes cancelations are accepted no later than 30 days prior to the event date and for all other orders no later than 7 days prior to the event date. If the production of your cake has commenced, you may be charged for any components already made.
Any major changes to your order less than the above time frame before the required delivery date may incur a fee to cover the reworking of the cake design and/or loss of work already completed on the order.
All orders cancelled after a deposit is paid will incur a $75 administration fee.
Refunds of deposits will not be issued for:
· Single tiered cakes: cancellations within 2 weeks (14 days) of the delivery date.
· Cakes 2 tiers +: cancellations within 4 weeks (30 days) of the delivery date.
