At first glance you might think this is a styled shoot, but no. Denisha just put together an stunning elopement that left no detail out. They married in Orange County on the ground of the Greenhouse PNOC with just their sons as guests. They soaked in the beautiful sunlight and enjoyed cake and champagne (well not for the kids!) afterwards.

“Filled with soft and simple details, this late August editorial at Las Mariposas Estate embodied such elegance. The soiree at this private estate in Escondido incorporated pastel hues through all the decorative pieces, a romantic balloon arch by Janet Morrin Designs, and a glamorous wedding cake by CocoaBerry, with linens from BBJ & La Tavola, the table decor paired perfectly with the natural elements of the venue. The outdoor elegance was an unchanging factor throughout the day. Starting with a romantic outdoor ceremony, an elegant French styled lounge set up with pieces from Sun-drop Vintage, a coffee station by Rugged Coffee, and a romantic dinner table lighted with candles by the courtyard of this Estate kept us mesmerized. Certainly, H & L Lovely Creations had everything perfectly orchestrated. Like a breath of fresh air, these serene images by Jasmine Marie Photography are sure to be enjoyed.”

A Greenhouse Fairytale

“Our story started in Las Vegas! I was in the closing cast of Jubilee, and Tim had just gotten back from Tokyo and was there to see some friends in the show. In between performances, I was on my way to get coffee with a show mate and as soon as I stepped out all I saw was this tall beautiful man, with a huge smile and big gorgeous bright white teeth surrounded by showgirls. Sounds dreamy, right? Well, I walked slowly up to him and stood there in a daze from 3ft away, just staring. My friend who was eager to get her coffee nudged me and asked was I ok? All I could respond with was “isn’t he the most beautiful man you’ve ever seen?” She’s married by the way, so no! Feeling awkward and ignored I went and got that cup of coffee. But I’m very persistent! I texted one of my friends and asked her about her friend. He’s single, he’s a great guy, funny, and really really sweet. Music to my ears!!! Found out his name, did a little Facebook stalking, and built up enough courage to message him. To my surprise, he was actually moving out of Vegas to Orlando. But we decided to meet anyway.

When we got together it felt like we’d known each other for and infinite amount of years. It felt right, it felt old and new all at the same time. It was magical!

Our story progressed quite quickly. We met a week before Christmas, made it official in January, made a cross country trip from Orlando to move home back to Vegas, and then to California.

He proposed in October of that same year in Hawaii. He took me to this beautiful what we thought was a secluded beach, and as we’re walking down this gorgeous rocky sandy path, we come across this completely nude man! In the process of me trying to assure the man that it was ok, and we’ll head back. The freaked out man was even more freaked out that it looked more like I was pointing and yelling at him. Definitely not my intention at all. So that happened. We did head back the other way, and because I’m easily distracted I had no idea that Tim was setting up a camera to video the proposal that was about to take place. I of course screamed YES!!!

We now live back in beautiful sunny Southern California, and work at the most magical place on earth Disneyland!! We have 2 beautiful dogs Ava and Yoli, and we’re still writing our fairytale love story.”

Laurie Ellen Park and Ryan Curry met the old fashioned way…Via a dating app. After nearly two years of dating Ryan dressed as an armadillo (like everyone does) and proposed.

Since things are so fluid with COVID-19 and Laurie and Ryan cannot know when things will normalize, o they decided to put the cart before the horse and got hitched with only a few immediate family members on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 28, 2020. Their lovely wedding is the celebration of love we all need right now and is a beautiful hint of thing to come!

Once the world normalizes a bit more they look forward to two receptions – one on the East Coast and one on the West Coast – as well as a few other events. Congratulations Laurie and Ryan and best wishes for a life full of celebration and love!

Den här dagen ska vi spana in ett rustikt utomhusbröllop med en dukning som vi tycker är lite extra värd att slänga ett öga på. Det handlar om bröllopet mellan Lauren och Ryan, ett par som valde att planera sitt bröllop trots att Covid-19 hade ett järngrepp om bröllopsåret 2020. Istället för att slå till med vigsel och en stor fest på ett och samma tillfälle så valde paret att dela upp firandet. Idag ska vi få ta del av deras vigsel som gick av stapeln i november förra året.

Playful Tassels and South American Folk Art Inspired this Colorful Outdoor Wedding

PLAYFUL TASSELS AND SOUTH AMERICAN FOLK ART INSPIRED THIS COLORFUL OUTDOOR WEDDING

Time to get colorful with this creative wedding shoot from Playful Soul Photography and H&L Lovely Creations that draws inspiration from South American folk art! Playful tassel details, gorgeous bougainvillea arrangements, and the amazing colors of the Andes came together in this beautiful micro wedding design in Southern California. Modern bohemian bridal trends, a love of macramé, and vibrant Aztec textile details made sure beautiful was at the forefront of this incredible wedding inspiration!

Dusk Gold and Olive Provence-Inspired Wedding Shoot in Santa Barbara

This Provence inspired winery wedding takes the hazy sunlight and dusky gold stone of Santa Ynez’s iconic Sunstone Winery and turns it into pure magic! The dreamy captures of Lovely Light Imagery turn this Central Coast California venue into the French countryside escape we’ve all been dreaming of, with European-inspired styling by Weddings by Susan Dunne that caps off the most perfect micro-wedding inspiration!

Organic Jewel Toned Micro-Wedding

This styled shoot was inspired by the jeweled vibrant tones of the fall season. It was set in a beautiful quaint greenhouse with lush vibrant colored floral plants to surround the bride and groom. The florals packed a punch of bold goodness with a mixture of burgundy, yellows, softer pinks, blush, and whites. The cake features a tall 1 tiered hand-painted cake garnished in light pink, peach, and white florals. The groom made a bold style statement with his burgundy velvet suit. Further seasonal nods can be found in the décor; from the warmth colorful plates by on the table to the beautiful rust velvet napkins and clever gold tealight holders. In keeping with the Greenhouse setting, there were some gorgeous botanical touches too, including a ceremony under a pepper tree and bougainvillea pots by the trailer bar. Not to mention the staple accessory during this pandemic, Bride and groom masks. But beyond the aesthetics, we love the fact that this wedding inspiration has an eco-friendly concept; bamboo trays were used for charcuterie boards, potted plants were spread throughout the aisle, a cake decorated with rice paper flowers and plan table seed paper was used for menus and invitations.

Colorful Wedding at Villa del Sol d’Oro

“The astonishing Italian-inspired historical landmark Villa del Sol d’Oro located in the city of Sierra Madre, California was the home for this South American-influenced Wedding Styled Shoot. With the goal in mind of trying to blend artisan elements from the South American culture and the European vibe of the venue, a color vibrant yet enchanting set-up came to life. Using elements as the bright hot pink of the delicate bougainvillea flowers and folk ethnic items from the Andes was the tendency throughout the entire occasion. South America is known for its cold weather, high elevations, majestic jungle, and unique animals such as Alpacas or Llamas. When planning for this styled shoot we aimed to showcase a few details of each aspect. From handcrafted macrame items, llama-inspired beverages, varicolored wedding cake to spectacular floral arrangements and vivid tablescapes, this Andes Vibes Styled Shoot had a piece of South America engraved in it.”

This talented creative team out of California set out with the goal in mind of trying to blend artisan elements from South America and the European Vibe of the Villa del Sol d’Oro.

Beauty and romance come together in shades of dusty blue and blush in this graceful editorial planned and styled by Southern California wedding planner BOWTIES & BOUQUETS. Full of whimsy and fine artistry through dance, creativity and passion, the shoot was inspired by movement and in particular ballet. Naomi tells us, “Throughout the planning and design, we wanted to convey the beauty that is expressed solely in art, the passion that we can only experience through dance and the love between two people who share a love for the same craft. Our theme was vintage inspired with handmade paper elements, a soft and flowy calligraphy font, silk linens, gorgeous lace and vintage inspired crystal glassware. I was inspired by delicate details, soft blues and pinks and elegant touches to express the gracefulness and awe of ballet.“

Captured by STEPHANIE WEBER PHOTOGRAPHY, the micro ceremony setup featured an asymmetrical open floral arch with soft, spring tones to inspire year round. With soft greens, neutrals and pinks paired with the tiniest hint of dried elements MILIEU FLORALS created a truly unique and awe-inspiring design. The ceremony space utilises the beautiful architecture that the EBELL CLUB OF SANTA ANA has with the impeccable design of arched walls and French glass doors – which became the natural ceremony backdrop enhanced by floral elements. “We wanted to feature some truly unique ceremony chairs which is why we chose the champagne Napoleon chairs by MTB EVENT RENTALS. They added a soft tone and made the micro wedding ceremony unique and fun!“
